Rules for using this free online PDF converter: uploads, downloads, acceptable use, and limits on results. Last updated 27 August 2026.

Agreement

By opening Doc2PDF or uploading a file you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the converters.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

The service

Doc2PDF provides browser-based tools that convert supported Word documents and images to PDF, and that merge PDF files. The service is offered as available. Features, file-size limits, and supported formats can change.

The site is not a law firm, not an archive, and not a backup service. You must download any PDF you need and keep your own copy.

Uploads and acceptable use

You may only upload files that you own or that you have permission to process. You must not upload malware, material that is illegal to possess or share, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.

  • do not attempt to overload, scrape, or break the converters;
  • do not bypass file-type or size limits;
  • do not use the tools to hide or launder prohibited content;
  • do not interfere with other people’s use of the site.

We may refuse, rate-limit, or block conversion requests that look abusive or unsafe.

Results, accuracy and intellectual property

A converted PDF may not match the original layout. Fonts, tables, images, columns, headers, and page breaks can change. You must review the PDF before you send, print, or file it. The Disclaimer explains this in more detail.

You keep the rights you already have in your source files. Doc2PDF does not claim ownership of your documents. The Doc2PDF name, layout, and site content remain ours or our licensors’.

Limitation of liability

The tools are provided without warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free conversion, or fitness for a particular official purpose. To the extent the law allows, Doc2PDF is not liable for lost files, delayed downloads, formatting differences, or decisions you make based on a converted PDF.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Terms questions

Yes. These terms cover the free browser tools. You may convert a supported file and download the PDF without creating an account, as long as you follow the upload and acceptable-use rules.

You keep the rights you already had in the source file. Doc2PDF does not claim ownership of your document or of the PDF you download. You are responsible for having permission to convert the file.

Only files you own or have permission to process. Do not upload malware, stolen documents, or material you are not allowed to copy. Protected or damaged files may be rejected.
