You can convert DOCX to PDF easily with our tool. Just remember, when you need to share or print a document converting DOCX to PDF is an idea.
Select the Choose DOCX File button and locate the Word document on your device. If drag-and-drop uploading is available, you can also move the file directly into the upload area.
Make sure you are selecting a valid file with the .docx extension.
After selecting your document, press Convert to PDF. Keep the browser tab open while the file is being uploaded and processed.
Documents containing many pages, images, tables, or other complex elements may require more processing than a basic text document.
When the conversion is complete, select Download PDF. Your browser will either save the file to its usual download folder or ask you where it should be stored.
Open the downloaded PDF and review the pages before sharing, printing, or submitting it.

Because this is a browser-based tool, you can access it from a compatible computer, phone, or tablet. The exact upload and download options depend on your device and browser.

Open the converter in your browser and select the DOCX file from your computer. After conversion, the PDF will normally appear in your Downloads folder unless you choose another location.
Select the upload button and find the document through Files, Downloads, or another available storage location. Once the PDF is ready, download it and check the Downloads or Documents folder.
On an iPhone or iPad, you can select a DOCX document through the Files interface. Safari may open the completed PDF in a preview.
If this happens, use the browser’s Share option and select Save to Files to store the document on your device or iCloud Drive.

If the conversion does not start or finish, try the following checks.
Check that the filename ends in .docx. Renaming an unsupported file and adding a DOCX extension does not turn it into a valid Word document.
Try opening the file in Microsoft Word, LibreOffice, Google Docs, or another compatible editor. If the document does not open normally, it may be damaged.
An encrypted or password-protected document may need to be unlocked before it can be processed. Do not remove protection unless you are authorized to access and convert the file.
An unstable connection can interrupt an upload. Reconnect to the internet, reload the page, and select the file again.
If the upload area or download button is not working, try a current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. You can also temporarily disable an extension if it appears to be blocking the tool.
Large documents may exceed the tool’s upload limit. Documents containing high-resolution images are often much larger than text-only files.
If the conversion finishes but you cannot find the file, check your browser’s recent downloads. The PDF may also have opened in a new tab instead of saving automatically.
An online Word to PDF converter can be useful when you need a PDF but do not want to manually rebuild the document. Photographs and scans should convert images to PDF on the picture tool instead.

Use the converter above to change a supported Word document from DOCX to PDF. Upload the file, start the process, and download the result when it is ready.
Check the completed PDF carefully when the document contains custom fonts, tables, images, columns, or other complex formatting.
